Nicole Pollentier

Nicole Pollentier is schrijver en curator. Momenteel rondt zij haar masteropleiding in Curatorial Studies af aan het Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York. Haar afstudeerproject zal bestaan uit een tentoonstelling, getiteld Degrees North: Six Artists and the Icelandic Landscape, met kunstwerken van Birgir Andrésson, Douwe Jan Bakker, Hreinn Friðfinnsson, Kristján Guðmundsson, Sigurður Guðmundsson en Magnús Pálsson. In 2005 behaalde zij de Master in Fine Arts/Creative Writing aan de San Francisco State University. Daarvoor werkte Pollentier bij SECA (Society for the Encouragement of Contemporary Art) als coördinator, ‘special projects coordinator’, assistent van de Curator of Education and Public Programs, en als assistent van de Director of Development. Pollentier woont en werkt in New York.
