Ana Longoni

Ana Longoni is a writer and researcher specialized in the articulations between art and politics in Latin America since the twentieth century. She received a BA in Literature and a PhD in Arts from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Buenos Aires, where she currently lectures in graduate and postgraduate courses. She coordinates the research group Culture as resistance?: Interpretations of cultural and artistic productions during the last dictatorship in Argentina at the UBA. Longoni also teaches at the Programa de Estudios Independientes (Independent Studies Program) of MACBA, Barcelona and at other universities. She has published, alone or in collaboration, among others: Del Di Tella a Tucumán Arde From the Di Tella Institute to Tucumán Arde; El Siluetazo The Silhouettes; and Traiciones Treasons. Longoni is a member of the editorial group of the magazines ramona and des-bordes. She is also an active member, since its foundation in 2007, of the Red de Conceptualismos del Sur.
