Als alle politiek een performance is – of tenminste performatief – dan kan het ten tonele en ten uitvoer brengen van politieke gebeurtenissen dienen als middel om nieuwe geschiedenissen in het publieke geheugen te griffen. Theatrale middelen kunnen gebruikt worden om het verleden bloot te stellen aan onderzoek en speculatie, het heden aan reflectie en mobilisatie en de toekomst aan zorg en collectieve verbeelding.

Met de bewijsvoeringsmethode van de heropvoering als onderwerp, bespreken Stefanos Levidis en Natascha Sadr Haghighian 77sqm_9:26min, 2017, een tegenonderzoek over de getuigenis van Andreas Temme over de moord op Halit Yozgat in Kassel op 6 April, 2006. Lisa Ito geeft een inleiding in de collectieve reacties van de groep Concerned Artists of the Philippines op opkomend fascisme en deelname aan anti-dictatoriale strijd in de Filippijnen.

Onderdeel van Propositions #7: Evidentiary Methods

Propositions #7: Evidentiary Methods – het publieke programma in de context van de tentoonstelling Forensic Justice en dat deel uitmaakt van BAK’s reeks Propositions for Non-Fascist Living (2017–2020) – gaat dieper in op de notie van forensic justice in een reeks lezingen, filmvertoningen en workshops over verschillende methodologieën om claims te uiten in de meerdimensionale ruimte van esthetiek, recht, architectuur, politiek en ecologie. Het programma zorgt voor een dieper inzicht in de werken van, of gemaakt in samenwerking met, Forensic Architecture, inclusief onderzoeken die geen deel van de tentoonstelling uitmaken. De bijeenkomsten zijn vooral gericht op de technieken en innovatieve bewijsvoeringsmethoden op het raakvlak van recht, kunst, politiek en het veranderlijke medialandschap dat in de forensische praktijk toegepast wordt, en scheppen de gelegenheid voor een dialoog en uitwisseling tussen de concrete zaken die door Forensic Architecture onderzocht zijn en andere lopende activistische campagnes in Nederland en daarbuiten. De reeks is opgezet in samenwerking met Nick Axel (architectuurtheoreticus, Amsterdam).

Using the sancocho (a pan-Latin American soup with no fixed recipe) as a tool for research and encounter, Mercado Lourdes (Bogotá, Colombia) will host and organize a series of field meals. These events activate and connect the multiple affects that have resulted from ongoing research with local producers into the biodiversity of the territory.

In all continents, people have built matriarchal cosmologies sustained by complex rituals. In the advent of main modern religions and after centuries of colonizing invasions, the goddesses of antiquity were suppressed by the patriarchal structures that consolidated our era. However, they found ways to speak to us in the language of patterns, melodies, and poems. This workshop uses the voice as a method to reveal the presence of goddesses.
