Reading Rhythms Club is an alternative reading club initiated in 2020 by Arimit Bhattacharya, Carla Arcos, Juliette Douet, Julia Wilhelm, Julian Crestian, and Senka Milutinović.
It began as an experimental
reading endeavor situated at Willem de
Kooning Academie, Rotterdam, hoping to
open up texts as a space for encounter
and collaborative exploration. Depending
on the text and genre, the frequencies of
reading are tuned in each session: from
reading in the rain to whispering slowly over
each other around trees. In its current skin,
Reading Rhythms is a nomadic club.
