About Ginge
There is a wave of freshness and excitement vibrating throughout the latest output of UK-infused electronic R&B-pop tunes released by ground-breaking singer-songwriter GINGE from Utrecht, The Netherlands. She boldly expands on her R&B, pop and neo-soul influences with a thrilling range of more club-oriented songs, freely merging her powerful song writing, booming soulful voice and affective harmonies with fresh and progressive electronic sounds. Shaped by neo soul and R&B and decorated with drops, anti-drops and build ups, percussive sounds, vibrating bass lines, filtered electronic kick drums, and style influences ranging from Jersey Club to UK Garage to House.
GINGE masterfully captures the deep connection and sensuality, freedom and fun found in clubbing in a unique and refreshing sound. During the pandemic GINGE was reminded of the psychological importance of being able to go out and have fun collectively. And of how there are strong mental benefits and great creative power in deliberately choosing to stay joyful and playful, confident and connected, in a world filled with distractions, expectations and turmoil.
With this exciting new sound GINGE has also defined how to artistically articulate and take full ownership and pride of her sensuous side, in a genre and industry that oftentimes overtly sexualizes female artists. GINGE reflects on her coming of age, as woman and as an artist, and the crucial themes and issues that keep on recurring in her songs throughout the years. Including longing for human connection, the pressures of dealing with the outside gaze - and the deep sense of freedom found in truly surrendering to that longing for joy within yourself.

Over Shitman
SHITMAN is de allerkjoelste band die je ooit zal gaan zien. 4 hele lieve jongens die muziek maken vanuit een diep gevoel van ongeluk en dit eruit laten komen met erg intense muziek. De muziek klinkt een beetje alsof stoner, metal en punk een triotje hebben gedaan en een lelijke baby hebben gekregen. Deze knappe mannen hebben in april hun debut EP “Desire” uitgebracht en hebben hierbij Astrant helemaal uitverkocht. Hiernaast 50 dikke shows gedaan in heel 2025, dus rustig hebben ze het niet.
