Living a Revolutionary Life #2
collective reading & discussion
Assembling in Resistance with Reading Counterpower Amsterdam
How do we move towards integrating and inhabiting revolution continuously, through how we live, relate and organize our daily existence? How do we move beyond activism as a specialised activity, separating political action from daily life?
We will chew on these matters: we eat together, we read together. We will take turns reading two texts aloud. Afterward, we harvest whatever insights we got from the texts.
18:00 soup

Living a Revolutionary Life is a series of gatherings with collective reading and discussion facilitated by Reading Counterpower Amsterdam as part of Assembling in Resistance. These sessions explore the following questions:
How do we unlearn the western tendency to compartmentalize all of life? How to live a revolutionary life in all its aspects?

about Assembling in Resistance
Assembling in Resistance is a programmatic line curated by artist and organizer Iliada Charalambous. During these gatherings, participants learn together about forms of coming together in and for resistance by reading collectively with and about diverse resistance movements, alternative forms of (self)governance and assembling.
How can we apply what we learn in the context of Basecamp?
