Keep an Eye Photography Stipends
The award ceremony of the Keep an Eye Photography Stipends takes place on 1 July 2022, during the graduation festival Exposure. The same evening, BAK, basis voor actuele kunst, hosts the opening of the graduation exhibition UPSCALING/DOWNSIZING.
Showcasing the work of students graduating from the Photography program at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU). The stipends are awarded as a means to support and give financial incentive to graduates who work with the medium of photography immediately after graduating. This way, they contribute to the profiling as a creator or beginning artist, and makes it possible for the graduates to, with coaching, settle in a suitable field of practice.
The winners receive a monetary amount of €10.000,-, of which €2.500,- is reserved for coaching. Students of the programs Photography and Fine Art are eligible for the stipend, as long as photography is an essential part of their graduation project. This prize is made possible by the Keep an Eye Foundation. This foundation supports beginning and talented artists by offering them a springboard or stage to a bigger audience.

Opening:
