The bak Young Fellows is a 4-month residency program at BAK, basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht. Around 10 youngsters from in and around Utrecht gather weekly at BAK. In a collective format we offer them the opportunity and resources to develop a creative, possibly collective, project emerging from artistic, social, and/or political urgencies that they experience. The program is facilitated by the BAK team and its vast network. They learn and make things happen* by researching and doing, stimulated by their creative thinking and political engagement.
