Srishagon Abraham

Srishagon (he/him), or Srish, is a passionate law graduate and racial justice activist. He strives to combine his love for law with his passion to make a difference in everything he does, drawing on his academic background in international, European and Dutch (human rights) law and Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) with an intersectional focus on global migration and development studies. His work covers a wide array of topics, often centering on a critical analysis of European and international law theory and praxis through a decolonial perspective.

His activism finds its roots in Malaysia, through various efforts for the rights of marginalised communities, including my fellow Indian community. Since moving to the Netherlands, he has focused his activism on the rights and inclusion of racialised communities within green politics and broader society, on strengthening civil society, on advocating for climate justice based on ecocentric (indigenous) teachings, and above all, on building community with each other and with nature.

As the Basecamp's community-holder, he hopes to build the Basecamp together into a meaningfully safe, inclusive, and sustainable collective of collectives. Feel free to reach out on anything Base Camp!
