the Unseen
documentary film screening and after talk with filmmaker Milou Rientjes
organised by AgroEcology Network for the b.ASIC a.CTIVIST k.ITCHEN
Join us for a screening of the movie the Unseen, together with the filmmaker, on 19 November in Utrecht!
The film sheds light on how migrants working in Europe’s agricultural sector can become trapped in systems of labour exploitation, bureaucratic uncertainty, and social exclusion. The Unseen follows three West African migrants living in Borgo Mezzanone, Italy’s largest informal settlement.
We’re are very happy to welcome Milou Rientjes, the filmmaker behind the Unseen, who will join us for the evening and share her experiences making the film.
The event is free to attend, and no registration is necessary.
Hope to see you there!
