The exhibition invites you to see technology not as something isolated, but as a field of choices that calls for care, engagement, and responsibility.
Knowledge systems rooted in cosmology, craft, and oral traditions persist as forms of survival, healing, and collective imagination. Textile ceramics, and video come together as carriers of knowledge and meaning. From Indigenous cosmologies to diasporic traditions, Techno-Ancestrality shifts the focus towards responsibility and relationality—towards a view of technology as embedded in the worlds we are part of.

Techno-Ancestrality verkent voorouderlijke kennis als levende inspiratiebron voor een nieuwe verhouding tot technologie, gemeenschap en ecologie. Het festival brengt een internationaal programma van talks, panels, performances, filmvertoningen en een tentoonstelling rond technologie, voorouderlijke kennis en alternatieve toekomstbeelden.
De tentoonstelling nodigt je uit om technologie niet te zien als een op zichzelf staand fenomeen, maar als een veld van keuzes dat vraagt om onderhoud, betrokkenheid en zorg.
Kennissystemen, geworteld in kosmologie, ambacht en orale tradities leven voort als vormen van heling, collectieve verbeelding en overleving. Textiel, keramiek en video komen samen als dragers van kennis en betekenis. Van inheemse kosmologieën tot diasporische tradities, Techno-Ancestrality verschuift de aandacht naar verantwoordelijkheid en relationaliteit: technologie ingebed in de werelden waar we deel van uitmaken.
